Rotary 9780 Donations In Kind

Who are we?

Donations In Kind is a division of the Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) organisation under the auspices of the Rotary International District 9780.

We actively invite organisations and people in our district to donate items in good condition, for which they no longer have a use, to be shipped overseas to our near neighbours in need.

These items are sorted and packaged, loaded into containers, then shipped to neighbouring overseas communities in need.

Community Service groups request our assistance on behalf of facilities such as hospitals and schools in poor areas of neighbouring countries.

We actively liaise with those groups to understand the need and ship what we have to assist them.

Volunteers are always welcome at our depot behind Osborne House, Swinburne Street, North Geelong, to help us with receiving, sorting and packaging the goods donated. Hours are 9am to 12 noon each Tuesday and Wednesday.
